Imagine waves of white sand reaching up to 50 metres high (160 ft) – then imagine surfing down them in one gigantic adrenaline rush!
The Atlantis Dunes are a mere 45 minutes drive from Cape Town. Pack in sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, thick socks, closed shoes and get ready for some action. This is the ultimate: a 4×4 trip combined with 2 hours of sandboarding!
This experience is ideal for complete beginners, although you should be reasonably physically fit. Sandboarding is a weather dependent activity and cannot take place in wet or very windy conditions.
Make a day of it out in the dunes and add in some quadbiking.
